The La Mosca Invitational is a fly-fishing redfish tournament designed to serve as an example for no-kill fishing tournaments in South Texas, bring awareness to the resource, raise money to support efforts in protecting the waters of the Laguna Madre, and to create an extremely competitive field of fly anglers from around the state. 

The goal is to establish a fun and prestigious tournament that represents who and what we all fundamentally stand for as anglers. La Mosca will set new examples for tournament fishing in the Laguna Madre while making a positive impact on the resource we all cherish so much. While the competition is fierce, this is about more than winning or losing.It is an opportunity to give back to the resource. All proceeds from the tournament are used to cover the expense and future expenses associated with hosting the tournament, while the remaining money is donated to support an aligned cause. Please join us in making this a successful and sustainable event.
